Whether we’re sponsoring Ski to Sea, helping local homeless communities, or giving monetary donations to local organizations, we are so thankful and proud to be in a position to help support the community that supports us.

Being active in our community not only means volunteering, sponsoring, or donating, it also means doing what we can to help serve those in underserved communities. Which is why we are focusing our efforts on expanding our service to rural communities.

Why Rural Communities?

It’s simple really. Just because you live in a smaller community does not mean you shouldn’t have the same access to information, news, games, tv, etc that others in larger communities have. As we all know, the COVID 19 pandemic has hit residents, communities, and businesses hard. With many schools making the difficult decision to implement at-home learning, parents and caretakers were faced with a new problem; making sure their home is a supportive learning environment. One major necessity to creating a supportive learning environment is internet access. Thankfully we already had infrastructure in place to support the massive increase in new internet customers, including a large number in rural Whatcom and Skagit counties.

Our internet service expands across Whatcom and Skagit counties and onto Lummi and Orcas Islands. Specifically:
