At PogoZone, we are committed to the communities that support us. In an effort to support local music (and our fellow co-worker), PogoZone supplies a van to The Penny Stinkers and CraigO’s Planet Groove to transport their gear to and from gigs. And this van is a real beaut, if we do say so ourselves.
As we hit record high temperatures this week, we’re reminded about the importance of staying hydrated and cool. But, not everybody has the luxury of air conditioning or the use of fans to cool them off. If you’re in need of some relief from the heat, here are some cooling stations in Whatcom and Skagit Counties.
Monday November 15th, 2021 was a difficult day for those of us living in the Pacific Northwest, especially Nooksack, Everson, and Sumas. As the rain poured down in record numbers, local river levels raised and spilled into residential areas and farmland completely decimating homes and businesses. It was awful and continues to be awful for those who have lost everything.
It’s no secret, we’re in the thick of Fall. Golden leaves blanket the ground, the wind has returned to say a hearty hello, and everything is either pumpkin flavored or apple spiced. Here in the Pacific Northwest our Fall season is spectacular, but with all the beauty comes the ever-dreaded mandatory tasks.
