As we hit record high temperatures this week, we’re reminded about the importance of staying hydrated and cool. But, not everybody has the luxury of air conditioning or the use of fans to cool them off. Monday November 15th, 2021 was a difficult day for those of us living in the Pacific Northwest, especially Nooksack, Everson, and Sumas. As the rain poured down in record numbers, local river levels raised and spilled into residential areas and farmland completely decimating homes and businesses.
