How do I know if I can get service?

One of PogoZone's qualified field technicians will visit your location and determine if you are in a service area. To make arrangements for an evaluation, please email us, or call us at (360) 676-8772.



What's involved in the installation?

When PogoZone arrives at your location we will determine where to mount the antenna. Most antennas are between 1' and 2' in diameter. We will usually will mount the equipment on the roof or somewhere elevated off of the ground. A cable will then be run from the equipment on the roof to inside your building, where we will provide an Ethernet Cat5 RJ45 connection. This will plug directly into your existing router, switch, computer etc. Most installs take between 2 and 6 hours to complete, depending on the circumstances such as networking requests, additional equipment, etc.



Do I need to provide anything for the service?

PogoZone requires you to provide a surge protection device and a router/firewall for the equipment to plug into. Please let your sales person know at the time of order if you would like to purchase either of these items directly from us, or if you will be providing your own.



How fast is the service?

PogoZone has many different High-Speed service levels available. Our rural residential customers are seeing speeds of 1.5 Mb/sec to as high as 7 Mb/sec depending on the service agreed upon.



How long do I have to wait for the service?

Depending on your location, most connections are installed within 10-14 business days after receipt of the completed Order Form. Installation fees and the first month's service fees are due at the time of order.



Is there a contract?

Yes, PogoZone requires a minimum 1 year contract for the basic connection. Business packages are eligible for a discounted monthly rate for multiple-term contracts. There are no discounts for multiple locations/connections.



Does PogoZone provide Web hosting and e-mails?

Yes, PogoZone can provide e-mail services or "host" your email domain for you, or we can provide you with an email address @ "pogozone.net".



Are static IP numbers available?

Yes, PogoZone can provide Static IP numbers as needed, please requests this at the time of installation.



Can I have more than one computer hooked up to the connection?

Yes, you can add as many computers as you want through use of a standard or wireless router. There are no additional charges for more than one computer.
